Dr. Carmen Bessey

My grandfather was a doctor and I saw him improve the lives of his patients throughout my childhood. This inspired me to become a dentist. I can immediately improve a person’s oral health and help them maintain their quality-of-life. My husband, an Austin physician, and I are thankful to give back to the communities that we love.

Many memorable moments have been part of my career as a dentist. It is rewarding to restore smiles and see patients smile for the first-time in many years. It is equally rewarding to help a patient overcome dental anxiety through a pain-free visit.

I was also the chief resident of one of America’s most successful dental programs. I was awarded in Prosthodontics, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, and Fellowships with the International Congress of Oral Implantology.

You might find me surfing at our local surf spots when I’m not taking care of patients. I love to garden, surf, dive and spearfish.
