Dr. Carmen Bessey

Dr. Carmen Bessey was inspired to pursue a career in healthcare at an early age. Growing up, she watched her grandfather, a physician, positively impact the lives of his patients. That experience shaped her decision to become a dentist and dedicate her career to improving patients’ oral health and overall quality of life.

Dr. Bessey finds dentistry especially rewarding because of the immediate and long-term difference it can make. Whether restoring a patient’s smile after years of discomfort or helping someone overcome dental anxiety during a comfortable visit, she values the trust her patients place in her care.

She served as Chief Resident in one of the nation’s leading dental residency programs, where she demonstrated strong clinical leadership and advanced treatment expertise. Dr. Bessey received recognition in Prosthodontics and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and has earned fellowship status with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, reflecting her continued commitment to professional development.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Bessey enjoys spending time outdoors. She is passionate about gardening, surfing, diving, and spearfishing, and values maintaining balance between her professional and personal life.
